Epicenter 2011

this past weekend i went to a concert with tj harris in irvine california. it was called epicenter and it was amazing. there was a small stage where bands played from eleven until four, then the large stage was from four until around ten/eleven. on the small stage the bands that played were drive a, crossfade, middle class rut, red light king, asking alexandria, and pod. on the large stage was red, everlast, skillet, puddle of mudd, buck cherry, five finger death punch, papa roach, staind, and limp bizkit. they were all good live, with the exception of middle class rut, and puddle of mudd. if you like those bands stick to the studio version of their music. seriously. they sucked live. haha. my favorite bands from the concert were probably crossfade, papa roach, asking alexandria, skillet, and staind. i know thats a big list but they were all so good, they sounded exactly like they do studio and it was amazing. the best show out of those bands was by far ffdp. they got the crowd going like no other. they got a moshpit started in the theater and security was pulling people out of the concert and in the middle of the song bad company the lead singer stoped all of the music and started talking to the security people and how all of those kids payed hard earned money to get in the show, he also said that if  they didnt let this one girl go he was going to quit singing right then and there. this really got the crowd going and when they let the girl go they started the music back up again. they are definatly a band to see in concert if you like there style of music. one thing i found odd about the lead singer of staind was that he wasnt much of a showman. he is an amazing singer and he can scream, but he was very... lethargic. he just stood infront of his mic and didnt do much. towards the end of their show he got a little more into it. but at the begining, not so much. but either way its a great concert.
im typing this from my phone and for some reason it wont let me use caps or any special characters like numbers or question marks. oh well.
